(Shawnee-AP) -- A bull rider from Lindsay is in fair condition after being injured during the International Finals Youth Rodeo in Shawnee.

Nineteen-year-old Jay Conner was stomped after completing his eight-second ride yesterday.

Conner was taken to Shawnee Regional Hospital and then transferred to Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Baptist spokesman Damon Gardenhire says one of Conner's lungs was bruised.

The rodeo began yesterday and runs through Saturday.
