(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Trout fisherman won't have to worry about new size restrictions and bag limits on the Lower Mountain Fork River until January 1st.
Kim Erickson -- chief of fisheries -- says some anglers have become confused over when the new regulations would go into effect on a section of river below Broken Bow dam.
The Lower Mountain Fork River contains three trout regulation zones. Zone three currently has a 20-inch minimum size limit and a one-per-day creel limit on rainbow trout.
Beginning in January, the area will have no size limit and a creel limit of six per day on rainbow trout.
Brown trout regulations will remain the same for the entire stream.
