(Tulsa-AP) -- The fishing's still good at Oklahoma lakes, despite the heat and humidity.
Lake Tenkiller was hit hard by the Largemouth Bass virus last summer. Quality-sized fish have been absent from the lake so far this summer.
But the lake still has a good population of spotted bass, which were not as heavily affected by the virus.
The fishing has been good below most of northeast Oklahoma's big dams. There have been reports of anglers catching a variety of fish, including sand bass, stripers and catfish, at Zink Lake in the heart of Tulsa.
Fishing guide J-B Bennett of Okmulgee says summer fishing is always good below the Eufaula dam.
