The cause of an overnight fire that destroyed three buildings in North Tulsa County is under investigation.
A Sheriff's deputy on patrol saw a glow and called firefighters to 6300 North Lewis around 3:30 this morning. The fire apparently started in two vacant buildings, and spread to a house with three people living in it.
Captain Jake Bishop, Turley Fire Department: We have one resident transported to the hospital, the two other residents are out and doing fine. Apparently the resident who went to the hospital has asthma and was complaining of some chest pain. The woman was checked out and is said to be doing fine.
Crews from Tulsa, Turley and Sperry all helped battle the fire. The Red Cross was called in to help the family who lost everything.
Another fire overnight damaged a Tulsa apartment complex. Firefighters were called to the Coppermill apartments around 2:30am for a balcony fire.
The fire caused about ten-thousand dollars in damage. No one was hurt. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
