Consumer Federation of America has announced a new child safety Web site, 'SafeChild.net.' The site will make available a free, non-commercial and confidential email notification service detailing major child-safety product recalls and related child-safety tips.
'SafeChild.net' is described by CFA as "the most comprehensive child safety site on the Web" and features special sections for parents, child professionals and advocates.
'SafeChild.net' is a project of the Consumer Federation of America Foundation. CFA Foundation was founded in 1972 as a private, nonprofit, research and education organization that compliments the work of the Consumer Federation of America. CFA is a non-profit association of some 280 pro-consumer groups that was founded in 1968 to advance the consumer interest through advocacy and education.
