TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ The University of Tulsa has named Jason ``Ja'' Havens as director of basketball operations, head coach John Phillips announced Wednesday.

Havens, 25, will coordinate team travel, office organization, film exchange and academic support in addition to other duties.

The Lewisville, Texas, native has spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Northeastern (Okla.) State University and helped guide NSU to the Lone Star Conference North Division Championship both years and a two-year mark of 47-12.
