(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Officials with the Central Hockey League and the Western Professional Hockey League have reached agreement on several issues.

The two league's announced last week plans to merge and begin play in October as the C-H-L.

The agreements include a salary cap, a roster limit of 18 players, all travel by bus, a new overtime format and a regular season of 64 games instead of 70.

The exact number of franchises is still to be determined. However, the chief executive officer of the organization that oversees the C-H-L's Oklahoma City Blazers says the Blazers and Tulsa will remain in the same division.
