Some Mannford residents may still be in the cold today. Hundreds of homes and businesses are without natural gas.

A construction crew digging to build a new activity center broke the town's gas line yesterday morning. The town provides natural gas for roughly 2,600 residents.

Mannford resident Liz Morrow says the outage changed her family's New Year's Eve plans. "So I tried to light my hot water tank - and I couldn't get it lit. So instead of wrestling with it we decided we would just go eat pizza.â€

The line has been repaired, but city crews will continue to go door to door this morning to reset regulators until everyone's gas is restored.

About 400 homes and businesses could be without service until this afternoon.
