Tulsa Police are investigating a dead body found Tuesday morning near 7th and Olympia.

Officers say a couple walking around 7:30 AM found the body of a woman on the side of the road and called police. Firefighters administered CPR until EMSA arrived, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Now, police are trying to figure out if foul play was involved or if it was an accident.

Tulsa Police officer Steve Odom, "We don't know whether she slipped and fell, whether she had been assaulted. Right now we have no idea. What we're trying to do is a canvas of the neighborhood. Piece together see if we can find out potential what happened."

The woman was said to be in her late 40's, but she has not been identified at this time.
