(Lane-AP) -- Rogers County prosecutors say they'll have a decision soon on whether they'll charge a former Inola school superintendent with financial wrongdoing.
DA Gene Haynes says he's been investigating Tom Strickland since an audit showed Strickland overpaid himself by $9,000 and got more than $17,000 in undocumented travel expenses.
Strickland has left Inola and gone on to become new superintendent for Lane schools in southeast Oklahoma. Strickland says he thought the investigation was over and just wants to get on with his life.
Lane school board President Sandy Goff says the board has met with Strickland and has confidence in him.
