(Wichita, Kansas-AP) -- Wichita State coach Mark Turgeon says Oklahoma State should do well when Big 12 Conference play starts next month.
Turgeon says he was impressed watching the Cowboys beat his team 68-to-58 yesterday. Turgeon says O-S-U kept cool even after leading scorer Tony Allen fouled out and the Shockers came within five points of taking the lead.
Turgeon says he has no doubt the Cowboys are a top 25 team.
O-S-U coach Eddie Sutton says Oklahoma State showed good defense but things would have gone better if the Cowboys were making more of their shots.
Oklahoma State's off until December 30th when the Cowboys play host to Arkansas.
