(Norman-AP) -- The Oklahoma Sooners cut short a scheduled two hour practice to about 80 minutes because several players had to leave for final exams.

OU will resume workouts Wednesday and will practice each day through Saturday, then take a break for Christmas.

The Sooners play Washington State in the New Year's Day Rose Bowl.
