An Oklahoma jail escapee is back behind bars Monday, one day after he escaped.

Roy Gill ran from the Adair County jail in Stilwell Sunday. Officials say Gill removed a metal plate from the third-floor jail, tunneled through the second floor ceiling and went out a window or door.

Someone called and told deputies they'd seen Gill outside the jail. A police officer then picked up Gill.

He'd been sentenced to prison for robbery and larceny.
