(Stillwater-AP) -- Stillwater Police are working to prevent future fights between Langston University and Oklahoma State University students.

A brawl last Sunday morning after a student party at the Stillwater YMCA is believed to be the third fight between students from the two schools.

Police Chief Norman McNickle says the department will begin giving a list of recommendations to people who rent building for student parties.

The recommendations include requiring an adult sponsor, security, a guest list and someone to monitor alcohol consumption.

McNickle says the recommendations were developed during a meeting with officials from OSU and Langston and the Payne County District Attorney's Office.
