TV viewers who flip through cable channels will see one channel in on which lawmakers are talking, giving speeches or voting. It's called C-SPAN.

The C-SPAN bus is an educational program that travels the country, helping students learn about the political process, Wednesday it was at Memorial High School in Tulsa.

C-SPAN’s Joyce Center was a guest on Six in the Morning Wednesday. She says one of the purposes of the bus is to let students know that the program is funded by the cable industry, not the US government. "So we talk to students about that, talk with them about what's going on in government and encourage them to become involved because one day these people will be voters and we want them to know where they can go to get some information."

The C-SPAN bus has been traveling around the country since 1993.
