MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Kevin Garnett had 21 points, nine assists and eight rebounds Thursday as the Minnesota Timberwolves continued their mastery of Atlanta by beating the Hawks 113-95.

Rasho Nesterovic had 18 points and six rebounds, and Troy Hudson added 18 points, while Joe Smith had 15 points and six rebounds for the Timberwolves. Minnesota has beaten the Hawks seven consecutive times.

Glenn Robinson scored 21 points and Shareef Abdur-Rahim 16 for the Hawks. Atlanta lost its sixth straight road game and is 2-10 away from home this season.

Pistons 86, Bulls 76

In Chicago, Chauncey Billups matched his season high with 21 points, including a big 3-pointer in the final minute, as Detroit beat Chicago.

Ben Wallace had 21 rebounds and Richard Hamilton added 20 for the Pistons, who got double figures in either points or rebounds from four of their starters. After losing three consecutive games, the Pistons have won two in succession.

Jalen Rose scored 15 to lead the Bulls, and Donyell Marshall added 14. Marcus Fizer had another strong night off the bench, scoring 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting and grabbing five rebounds.

Hornets 93, Jazz 88

In Salt Lake City, Baron Davis hit a 3-pointer and converted a three-point play in the final minute as New Orleans opened a seven-game road trip with a victory over Utah.

The Jazz had a chance to tie it at 88 with about 10 seconds remaining, but Karl Malone's jump shot bounced off the rim and the rebound kicked out to Davis, who drove for a layup and was fouled with 6.1 seconds left.

Davis, whose 3-pointer put the Hornets up 88-84 with 58 seconds to go, made the free throw and the Hornets held on for the win.

David Wesley scored 33, going 8-for-10 from 3-point range, and Jamal Mashburn finished with 19 points for the Hornets.

Matt Harpring led the Jazz with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Malone scored 18 and had 13 rebounds as Utah lost for just the second time at home this season.
