An investigation into the deaths of two Tulsa County residents has deteminted it was a murder suicide. The couples' bodies were found in a home off Highway 51 and West 201st Street.
Tulsa County Sheriff's office investigators were called to the home around 5 Thursday night. They say the bodies of 72-year-old Floyd Sweeney and his wife, 39-year-old Belinda Sweeney were found in a bedroom of the home.
Tulsa County Sheriff’s office Sgt. Willie Lewis, “a friend of one of the victim's had not seem them in a while, became concerned, came out to the residence and talked to one of the neighbors, the neighbor went up to the home and discovered the bodies.â€
Lewis says the deaths were 'consistant with, and have been determined to be a homicide-suicide.'
