An investigation into the deaths of two Tulsa County residents has deteminted it was a murder suicide. The couples' bodies were found in a home off Highway 51 and West 201st Street.

Tulsa County Sheriff's office investigators were called to the home around 5 Thursday night. They say the bodies of 72-year-old Floyd Sweeney and his wife, 39-year-old Belinda Sweeney were found in a bedroom of the home.

Tulsa County Sheriff’s office Sgt. Willie Lewis, “a friend of one of the victim's had not seem them in a while, became concerned, came out to the residence and talked to one of the neighbors, the neighbor went up to the home and discovered the bodies.”

Lewis says the deaths were 'consistant with, and have been determined to be a homicide-suicide.'
