A Tulsa firefighter is recovering after he was injured fighting a house fire. It broke out about 2:15 Thursday morning in south Tulsa.

Firefighters were called to the home near 60th and Urbana for the second time in two days. Thick smoke poured from the home as they arrived. They know the fire started in the garage, but don't know why.

One firefighter had to be taken to the hospital because he was hurt; we're told his injuries are not too serious. Everyone inside the home got out safely.

Wednesday afternoon, firefighters were called to put out a car fire in the homeâ€™s driveway, that fire is also under investigation.
