HONOLULU (AP) _ Diana Taurasi scored 30 points and had five assists to lead No. 5 Connecticut over No. 23 Oklahoma 73-60 in the championship game of the Rainbow Wahine Classic on Sunday night.

Taurasi was 12-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range. She also grabbed seven rebounds, as did Jessica Moore. Ann Strother added 16 points for UConn (5-0), which led 44-22 at halftime.

Maria Villarroel scored 27 points, and Dionnah Jackson had 13 points and six assists for Oklahoma (5-2). Chelsi Welch led the Sooners with seven rebounds.

Host Hawaii was playing No. 11 North Carolina for third place in the three-day tournament. Earlier Sunday, DePaul beat Denver 55-44 to take fifth place, while Fordham downed Gonzaga 79-69 for seventh.
