Tulsa Police look for a connection in a series of frightening late night robberies.

Tulsa Police were called to the Blockbuster store at 49th and Union around midnight. They say two armed men burst into the store and bound the employees as they took money from the register.

Tulsa Police officer Steven Sanders, “Held the employees at gunpoint, duct taped them, had them show them where the money was and the took all the money and several games.”

Police say this robbery has a lot of similarities to a Blockbuster robbery in east Tulsa last week. They are checking to see if they are related.

No one was hurt in either robbery.
