Tulsa is home to some proud new US citizens. 59 immigrants swore allegiance to our nation at the Eisenhower International School's naturalization ceremony.

It was one way to mark the founding of the school and give students a chance to see immigrants becoming American citizens. Jennifer Chon is originally from South Korea. Her naturalization process took a little more than four months, but she says it was worth it.

Jennifer Jade Chon, new citizen, "You can come from any kind of surrounding or background and become - you know - Bill Gates or Donald Trump. The world is your oyster basically in the US. So that's why I want to become a citizen of the US.”
