OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The FBI in Oklahoma is asking for the public to help catch a serial bank robber.
The man is suspected of robbing five banks in Oklahoma City, one in Lawton and one in Wichita Falls, Texas, from June 2001 through June 2002, said John Lewis, special agent in charge of the FBI in Oklahoma.
The suspect is a white male, 5-foo-t10 to 6-feet tall, 180 to 220 pounds with a pudgy face, short brown hair and blue eyes.
He was seen leaving two of the robberies in a white Ford Mustang with possibly a Texas license plate, Lewis said.
The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers up to $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of anyone who robs a member bank.
The FBI is offering an additional $3,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the serial bank robber.
