OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ State Treasurer Robert Butkin will head a team that will help with the transition from the administration of Gov. Frank Keating to that of Gov.-elect Brad Henry.

Henry announced the appointment Friday and said 10 to 20 additional members will likely be named next week.

The team will make recommendations to Henry about appointments to state boards and agencies.

Henry also says he will attend next week's special session of the Legislature as lawmakers consider appropriating $9.8 million to the Department of Corrections. The funding is intended to help the department avoid employee furloughs.

Henry said he and his family have just returned from a trip to Cancun, Mexico, where he spent four days relaxing.
