(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A terrorism expert says an Oklahoma City institute could help President Bush's Homeland Security Advisory Council.
Advisory council member Paul Bremer the third recently visited the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism that was created after the Oklahoma City bombing.
Bremer says the city has already helped national terrorism experts by sharing lessons learned from the 1995 bombing, particularly about rescue workers.
He says he's especially interested in information about first-responders, including police officers, firefighters and medical personnel.
The institute has created a booklet for cities to use in case of a terrorist attack. It's also sponsored research to develop an anthrax vaccine and sensors to detect chemical or biological agents in water or the air.
