(McAlester-AP) -- Union leaders at the McAlester Ammunition Plant are worrying about job cuts after a directive from U-S Army Secretary Thomas E. White.
White has ordered commanders to submit plans for privatizing almost 214-thousand military and support jobs.
The plans are due by December 20th.
Union President Mike Higham says he's very concerned the ammunition plant will cut employees. He says the whole work force is essential to fighting war and protecting the American public.
