Wynona Rider's shoplifting conviction shines light on a crime that has become a $26-billion a year business. Tulsa retailers are beefing up security as we head into the holiday shopping season.

Brent works at the midtown Gordmans. He says a crackdown on shoplifters at that store has cut the loss in half since two years ago when the store lost $480,000 to thieves.
