(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A former Oklahoma congressional candidate is under federal investigation for his campaign fund raising.

In a copyright story The Daily Oklahoman reported that the financing of Walt Robert's failed 1998 run for the US House may be subject of the a federal grand jury.

The newspaper reported that possible witnesses have been subpoenaed by the F-B-I. Representative Wes Watkins and other members of Oklahoma's congressional delegation filed a compliant against Roberts with the federal election commission.

The complaint says Roberts --a former state representative from McAlester--set up false business deals to put money into his congressional campaign.

The delegation says Roberts laundered up to $217,500.
