An update on a murder investigation in Broken Arrow. Darren Ellis is accused of stabbing his parents to death, then beheading them.

The bodies of Troy and Margaret Hefley were found in their Broken Arrow apartment earlier this month. Police say the suspect, Darren Ellis, called them and told them he had killed them. He was still in the apartment when police arrived.

Authorities say Ellis had threatened to kill others in the past. He also threatened to burn down the Creek County jail. His preliminary hearing is set for November 20th.
