If you're fed up with all the violence in the news lately, you're not alone. Some folks are taking a stand this week, working to be violence free.

The YMCA kicked off its "Week Without Violence" campaign Tuesday in downtown Tulsa. More than 200 local students took part in a parade and rally, and listened to speeches from city officials.

And its not just a local event, more than 40 countries are holding similar rallies.
