A Sallisaw teenager is scheduled for arraignment today on several charges including two counts of first-degree murder.

The charges against Daniel Fears stem from a weekend shooting that killed two and wounded eight others. Fears had no criminal history before Saturday.

His defense attorney believes he had a mental breakdown, was suffering from depression, and may have been taking some else's prescription drugs. A toxicology test is pending.

Fears remains under a suicide watch at the Sequoyah County jail.
