The Oklahoma Supreme Court is giving a legal push to the state's case against Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols.
The high court is ordering Oklahoma County officials to pay Nichols' legal bills. The bills have stacked up over the past year while defense attorneys and county officials argued over whether they are reasonable. They total about $491,000.
The court is also setting out guidelines for paying future legal bills. Defense attorneys have already spent $1.7-million on the case.
