The Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa announced the winners of the 2002 Harwelden Awards Thursday.

The council has presented the Harwelden awards since 1984 to honor individuals, corporations and organizations that have been exemplary advocates and supporters of the arts and humanities in our community.

Some of the 2002 honorees are the Bama Companies, the Tulsa Ballet, Senator Charles Ford, and playwright Tyrone E Wilkerson.
