(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Walter Hall has a one-stroke lead after shooting a 3-under-par 69 in the rain-delayed Senior Tour Championship in Oklahoma City.
Hale Irwin, Tom Kite and defending champion Bob Gilder are among seven players tied for second at 2-under-par.
Gil Morgan of Edmond is another shot back at 1-under and Doug Tewell of Edmond finished the first round at even par.
Tournament play was suspended yesterday because of heavy rain and started this morning under cloudy skies with temperatures in the 40s.
The tournament is to continue through Sunday at Gaillardia Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma City.
In the Super Seniors event for players 60 and older, Dave Stockton and Gibby Gilbert share the lead at 1-under 71 after the first round.
