(Grove-AP) -- The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe has closed its bingo hall in northeastern Oklahoma after dismissing the hall manager.
Hall manager Grace Lockner was dismissed because of an alleged conflict of interest.
Bingo hall clerk Cotton Briggs says the casino near Grove closed at midnight Monday and the 162 employees were told they no longer have jobs.
Briggs says employees were told it wasn't bringing in enough money, but says its bills were paid and that it was making a profit.
Tribal Chief Leroy Howard is referring questions to Sandra Kingston and Steven Bunch, who say they're part of a transition team. Kingston and Bunch say an announcement about management of the hall is expected on Friday.
