(Perry-AP) -- A man and woman charged with conspiracy to defraud a state agency will go to trial.
Former Perry Police Department chief investigator David Farrow is accused of receiving $14,000 in aid from the Department of Human Services even though he was ineligible.
Farrow's common-law wife Alicia McCullough faces the same charge.
An affidavit says the couple claimed Farrow did not provide financial support to McCullough and her children.
But testimony in a hearing Monday showed the couple had property and assets together and a joint checking account.
The couple could spend up to ten years in jail or pay as much as $25,000 in fines.
