Sequoyah County prosecutors are still trying to figure out when they will retry a man for the death of an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.
Jurors deliberated nine hours Friday, but couldn't come to an agreement. Kenneth Barrett is accused of killing Trooper David "Rocky" Eales. He was shot to death in a 1999 drug raid.
The 12-member jury deadlocked at an 11-to-1 vote. Prosecutors were asking for the death penalty.
