(Waldron-AP) -- An Oklahoma man and an Iowa man are being ordered to pay $3.5 Million to the estate of an Arkansas man.

A jury in Scott County found Heriberto Garcia-Rubio of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Salvador Guevarra Junior of Des Moines, Iowa, liable for the death of Roland Varnado of Nella.

Varnado was shot to death in a church parking lot in southwest of Waldron about two years ago while responding to a neighbor's call for help.
