Oklahoma golfers are coming home from California with a third-place finish in the Pepperdine Club Glove Intercollegiate.

The Sooners came from seventh place at the beginning of the final round to finish 20 over at 884.

Freshman Jim Renner led Oklahoma with rounds of 75, 70 and 73 and tied for ninth place. It was his second start for the Sooners.
