NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Students at a University of Oklahoma dormitory found a dead fetus in one of the bathroom toilets early Wednesday, authorities said.

An 18-year-old woman who may be the mother was interviewed, but it was not known if she was a student. No one has been arrested.

Campus police released few details about the discovery, which was made about 6:30 a.m.

The state medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the fetus' death.

The fetus may have been born prematurely, Norman Regional Hospital spokesman Grant Farrimond said.

The 18-year-old was taken to the hospital, where she was in good condition Wednesday, Farrimond said.
