(Tulsa-AP) -- A Sperry man is dead following a one car crash early Tuesday morning in Tulsa County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Gary Lynn Edwards was killed in the crash about 4:15 Tuesday morning.

Troopers say Edwards was driving at a high rate of speed when his car ran off the roadway in a curve. The car then hit a guardrail, became airborne and overturned, winding up on its top.
