Someone robbed a Tulsa pawn store recently and maced the 73-year-old woman working behind the counter.
As News on Six crime reporter Lori Fullbright explains, the team of robbers had an eye for jewelry. But your watchful eye can help catch the crooks.
The man and woman who robbed the Golden Pawn Shop in East Tulsa on September 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at first appeared to be like any other customers.
Officer Scott Walton, Tulsa Police,"They shopped for 30-40 minutes, just looking at different items, then, when the time was right, they approached the 73 year-old woman behind the counter and sprayed her with pepper spray."
After knocking the woman down, the suspects took three trays of jewelry, worth quite a lot of money and ran from the store.
Walton says, "We do have a suspect vehicle. They got into a four-door, maroon type vehicle."
The man and woman were in the their 30's, the man was six feet tall, 170 pounds, the woman, five-six, 200 pounds.
