Rescue crews from Tulsa and Sand Springs were called out to rescue a woman stranded in the middle of the Arkansas River on Thursday.

The woman became stuck when the water rose to her knees, and she was too afraid to move to the shore. A Sand Springs crew finally rescued the woman.

No word on why she was in the water to begin with.
