(Spokane, Washington-AP) -- A Los Angeles radio station manager says he has a guitar that belonged to Oklahoma-born songwriter Woody Guthrie.

Jim Kalmenson paid $5,000 for the guitar earlier this year. A repairman paid $2 for the beat-up guitar in the 1960s and restored it.

Guthrie came from Okemah during Dust Bowl days to champion the nation's downtrodden through his music. Among his more famous songs is ``This Land is Your Land.''
