(Watonga-AP) -- Watonga officials are hoping for a return of the town's biggest employer.
Hollytex Carpet Mills took 500 jobs when it closed operations in Watonga and Anadarko two years ago. Now a group of former executives with the company is trying to reopen the carpet mill and a yarn factory that supplied it.
Ron Threadgill is president of the new company and he says things can hopefully be running again within six months. Threadgill says hiring could begin within the next two months.
