(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State coach Les Miles says Saturday night's win over SMU is just what the Cowboys needed.

Miles says his squad members believe they're a good team that hasn't had a chance to show it.

Miles says the 52-to-16 victory will help OSU use its time off next weekend to improve. OSU's got some tough competition next month including Texas and Nebraska.
