(Bartlesville, Oklahoma-AP) -- The mother of a missing Woodward boy is being held in the Washington County jail after refusing extradition to Missouri.
Katherine Gougler, also known as Katherine Rutan, was arrested in Bartlesville on a bogus check charge from Clay County, Missouri.
Missouri prosecutors say she was known as Catherine Daggett when she allegedly wrote bogus checks in the Kansas City area in 1999. Her son is Logan Tucker, a six-year-old missing since July.
Woodward County authorities say the woman has given conflicting statements about the boy's whereabouts, but have not called her a suspect in her son's disappearance.
Sheriff Les Morton says the woman apparently left Woodward in northwest Oklahoma earlier this month to move to northeast Oklahoma.
