Jury selection is underway in the murder trial of Kenneth Barrett. The trial is taking place in Sallisaw.

Barrett is accused of murdering veteran highway patrol trooper "Rocky" Eales [pictured] during a drug bust at Barrett's home back in 1999.

Barrett also faces attempted murder charges for injuring another trooper. Sequoyah County prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty.
