(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A Wednesday morning house fire has left two people dead in northwest Oklahoma City.
Fire Major Brian Stanaland says a man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s were found dead in a bedroom in the home after firefighters put out the blaze.
No names have been released.
Stanaland says a 22-year-old man told investigators he and his parents were inside the home when he heard a smoke alarm go off. The man said he was able to get out of the home, but his parents were not able to escape.
Stanaland says firefighters were called at 11:18 and arrived within six minutes. He says firefighters could see smoke coming from the home about one mile away and found very heavy flames when they arrived.
Stanaland says arson investigators are on the scene, but so far have no reason to suspect foul play.
