The John Pickle Company is making headlines again, this time for violating safety and health standards.
OSHA says it found 18 workplace violations, including not enough personal protective equipment for workers, failing to use operator restraint devices on forklifts, inadequate guarding of ladders and unsafe use of flammable liquid. The company was fined more than $46,000. The John Pickle Company has 15 days to either pay or contest the citations.
The John Pickle Company first made headlines this past February when a handful of Indian immigrant workers accused the factory of fraudulent recruitment practices, imprisonment and unfair labor standards.
