(Tanagura, Japan-AP) -- The Oklahoma State women's golf team has won the TOPY Cup in Japan by 25 strokes and three school records were broken.
The Cowgirls were led by freshman Karin Sjodin, who set two school records during the three-round tournament the ended Thursday.
Sjodin shot a 65 in her first round for OSU and despite a final round 74, she won the individual award with an 8-under par 208.
The 65 in the first round and the total of 208 are both school records for low scores. OSU's team total of 850 is also a school record for low score.
OSU's Annie Thurman finished third in the individual competition and Cowgirl Linda Wessberg was fourth.
